To expand our team, we are looking for a full-time machine operator (m/f/x) with immediate effect. The position is permanent, the place of employment is our production facility between Weimar and Erfurt in 99428 Grammetal (OT Isseroda).
Your tasks:
• Setting up and operating CNC machines in mechanical production
• Documentation and evaluation of machining results
• Handling and logistics of sophisticated opto-mechanical components
• Operation of measuring equipment to check machining results
• Process preparation, disassembly and assembly as well as maintenance of system components
Your qualifications:
• Completed technical vocational training in the field of machine operator or a comparable qualification, lateral entry is possible
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Pro-active way of working with the goal of taking responsibility and growing together
• German language skills in spoken and written, English skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of the PC

Your tasks:
• Setting up and operating ultra-precise turning and milling machines in optical production
• Polishing optical substrates
• Documentation and evaluation of machining results
• Support in the conception, implementation and further development of novel measuring and processing technologies within the optical production chain of SPACEOPTIX GmbH
• Operation of optical measuring devices for form and roughness testing (interferometer, white light interferometer)
• Process preparation, disassembly and assembly as well as maintenance of system components
Your qualifications:
• Completed technical vocational training in the field of precision optics or a comparable qualification, lateral entry is possible
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings

Your tasks:
• Manual and automated cleaning of ultra-precise optical mirrors
• Inspecting and evaluating work results for cleanliness, defects, surface shape, etc.
• Handling, testing and assembly of opto-mechanical components and systems
• Operating measuring equipment to verify assembly results
• Further development and optimization of assembly and testing processes
• Process preparation, disassembly and assembly as well as maintenance of system components
Your qualifications:
• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. as physics or chemistry laboratory technician, mechanics technician, microtechnology technician

•Development, design and construction of individual components and opto-mechanical assemblies based on customer and project-specific requirements
•Preparation of technical drawings and parts lists
•Cooperation and coordination with mechanical production as well as measurement technology
•Involvement in challenging research and industrial projects
•Preparation and review of the required documentation
What you bring along:
• Completed technical studies or further training as a state-certified technician
• Professional experience in the field of aerospace, precision engineering, optics or mechanical engineering desirable
• Experience in the use of a 3D CAD system (preferably Creo)
